Used Sea Kayaks

   Sea kayaks are for outdoor types who enjoy the freedom of open water areas such as large lakes, bays and the ocean.  Sea kayaks have been around for generations and were originally used for hunting and fishing.  Some used sea kayaks available for sale will be used for fishing, but many will be used by outdoor enthusiasts hunting for adventure.

Used sea kayaks come in a variety of materials and designs to accommodate different circumstances and uses.  A modern twist on kayaking is kayak sailing.  A sail is attached to the kayak to reinforce the paddling efforts or replace paddling altogether.  Expedition kayaks are designed for trips that require camping gear or other equipment to be stored on the kayak.  Surf kayaking is a cross between kayaking and surfing for kayakers who would rather catch a wave than sit on a lake.
