Used Slalom Kayaks

   Racing kayaks on flat water can be intense.  Racking kayaks on turbulent whitewater is more intense and less predictable.  Slalom kayaks are made especially for challenging whitewater conditions.  Slalom kayaks come in different lengths for different types of racing events.

The body of the Slalom kayak is usually comprised of some sort of fiber reinforced with resin.  This extremely stiff shell travels faster than other kayaks and is tough enough for the types of conditions found in whitewater racing.  Used Slalom kayaks in great condition are sometimes tough to find due to the demand, but fans of whitewater kayaking know that getting their hands on this highly maneuverable craft is worth the effort.
